WCRP Values
Encouraging collaboration and promoting best practice is at the heart of our partnership work.
WCRP has a community development approach which is underpinned by the following key values:
- We will promote social inclusion by addressing the needs of women who are disadvantaged and marginalized;
- We believe frontline services must be resourced and accessible to all women;
- We value equality and diversity through respecting differences between women of diverse cultures, backgrounds and ethnicities;
- We promote transparency and believe that the policies and governance relating to our work should be accessible to everyone;
- We will promote social justice by examining public policy and other developments to assess impact on disadvantaged and marginalized women;
- We support interdependency through the promotion of co-operation and collaboration between our 4 lead partners, our stakeholders, agencies and organizations.
WCRP Aims
Aim 1. To build a strong, effective and inclusive Partnership for the benefit of partners and stakeholders
Aim 2. To advocate for the sustainability of frontline services for WCRP partners and stakeholders
Aim 3. To promote best practice and quality standards in education, training, advice & childcare services in the Women's Centres.
Aim 4. To influence policy relating to women's lives by identifying and publicising emerging issues facing women in disadvantaged areas
