Regional Women's Centres Learning Partnership
The WCRP and its partner organisations offer a unique learning opportunity funded by the Lottery Live & Learn Programme 2009-2014. The Regional Women’s Centres Learning Partnership project is a partnership between the Women’s Resource and Development Agency (WRDA) as lead partner, working closely with the Northern Ireland Rural Women’s Network (NIRWN), the Women’s Support Network (WSN), The Women’s Centre Derry, and fourteen women’s centres/organisations that deliver the Live & Learn project within local communities. The project’s unique selling point is its ‘women only’ ethos and commitment to reaching ‘hard to reach’ women offering both non-accredited and accredited programmes. At the heart of the project are relevant supports such as childcare provision, one to one mentoring and outreach support, all of which are designed to make the idea of education and learning a more realistic option.
